Cory Henry returns to Inglewood

Grammy-winning artist Cory Henry returns to The Miracle Theater (226 S Market St, Inglewood) on Sunday, June 29, 2025, for the next installment of his monthly “Church” concert series. This spiritually-rooted evening brings together music, food, and community in a welcoming, all-ages space in the heart of Inglewood, Calif. Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the option to enjoy a pre-show meal courtesy of Korrah’s Koko Kitchen at 6:00, and the concert begins at 8:00 PM.
Rooted in the music from Henry’s 2025 Grammy-winning album “Church,” the series offers a mix of gospel, funk, and jazz presented as part concert, part communal gathering in the same spirit the record draws from Henry’s Brooklyn church upbringing. Each performance invites attendees to come as they are, share a meal, and be moved by music grounded in faith, family, and collective uplift.
Continuing the gesture in community care, Henry is once again offering free admission to families impacted by the Eaton Fire, ensuring the event remains accessible and restorative for those in need of support.
“This is more than just a concert,” says Henry. “It’s a celebration of resilience, spirit, and community — and I want everyone, especially those going through hardship, to be part of it.”
Award winning artist Cory Henry has made an indelible mark on contemporary music. Earlier this year he won Best Roots Gospel Album in 2025 for his personal and powerful album “Church,” featuring intimate contributions from family members, including his grandmother. The journey behind the album was also documented in a PBS special aired in early 2025.
