Show Time For Eagles and Chiefs
Let’s Get Ready To Rumble
By Andrew Rosario
Yesterday was the time the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs were available to the more than 2,00 media members here to cover Super Bowl 57 which will take place at State Farm Stadium home of the Arizona Cardinals. There were three main stories that were the most talked about during the week. First, for the first time in Super Bowl history, both teams will be starting African American quarterbacks. Jalen Hurts for the Eagles and Patrick Mahomes for the Chiefs. The second, Andy Reid Kansas City’s head coach who will be coaching against his ex-Eagles team. Reid led the Eagles to the 2005 Super Bowl only to lose to the New England Patriots 21-21. After 14 years, 130 wins and 5 championship games, Reid was fired by owner Jeffrey Lurie. “It was one of the hardest things l hands to do,” he said.
The last story is a family affair. The Kelce brothers Travis and Jason. The youngest, Travis, is one of the best tight ends in the game and a integral part of the Kansas City offense. Jason, the center for Philadelphia has the unenviable task of protecting Hurts. Parents Ed and Donna will have to console the loser. Said their dad on their weekly Pod Cast New Heights, “l probably visit the loser first because somebody’s going to feel crummy.” Both have Super Bowl rings to their credit.
Both teams have been dissected to the NTH degree as Sunday could go down as on of the greatest games in Super Bowl history.
The New York Beacon predicts that the Kansas City Chiefs will win a close one over the Philadelphia Eagles 31-27 and Patrick Mahomes will take home his second MVP award.
